My Role:
Branding, Web, Presentation Design
Carousel is a new digital and performance marketing agency, a brand launching under parent company, Jumbleberry, As part of our engagement, I was responsible to consult for and redevelop the brand identity, which resulted in a brand guide, digital and physical assets, landing pages and more.
The original branding had a dated, stock and templated look, without a brand system and guidelines. Moreover, the brand vision and its subsequent clientele had evolved and required an approach which deemed it a more premium, professional agency, with timeless, mature, and sophisticated qualities that would garner trust and convey reliability for clients' immediately. However, we would be maintaining the carousel wordmark and the c logomark, which did fit design intentions.
We went through two versions of branding. The first of which revolved around Carousel's idea of fun and progressive culture. The proposal was to capture the whimsical and surrealist style of the carousel to present the idea of creativity and imagination which is necessary for successful marketing strategies. Later, a more minimalist and corporate design was conclusively more versatile across broad applications and different target markets, according to team feedback over the course of a few months.
More details to come.
